2021 Brompton M6LX Titanium Edition with Dynamo Hub Lighting, Standard Seat Post, Wide Saddle, Original Marathon Tyres Cloud Blue Main Frame / Titanium Extremities

As the most versatile option, this bike uses the 3-speed Sturmey Archer BWR hub combined with a 2-speed shifter for a combined 6 speeds. The wider gear ratio is designed to get you up the steepest hills and speeding along the flat open roads. Schwalbe Marathon Racer tires provide a zippy ride and a Front Carrier Block lets you customize your bike with a wide range of Brompton bags. This model is our most popular due to its adaptability and is a favorite of world travelers.

This bike uses the Mid Handlebar which is Brompton’s bestseller and the sweet spot for short riders seeking an upright ride or average-height riders wanting a bike that is both efficient and comfortable. Fenders keep you and your bike looking presentable and make entry to shops, museums, and theaters a lot easier as a result. The bike is fitted with a Standard seatpost and comes with a Brompton wide saddle

An optional aluminum rear rack allows you to carry extra luggage on the back while touring, or if you need to haul something too large to fit in a front bag. The four wheels make the bike considerably more stable when using it in “rolling transport mode” or storing it away folded.

A Brompton bike is perfect for those that live, work or play in cities: The bike folds up to a third of its size, and weighs on average just 11kg for a standard model which means a Brompton is suitable to take on all forms of transport – perfect for commuting on trains, popping in the boot of the car and taking out of the city for some fresh air, hailing a taxi when the weather changes or you want to get home late at night.

When folded, a Brompton stays locked together, making an extremely compact package, a little larger than its wheels.

Using the frame or saddle as a handle, a Brompton can be carried like a small suitcase, lightweight and easy to manage. The fold is designed to keep vulnerable parts, like lights and cable-runs, out of harm's way and, by folding them in, to keep the chain and gears away from clothing and luggage. Small rollers allow the bike to be pushed or towed easily, which makes moving around a station, shop or café a breeze.

On trains and buses it tucks neatly into luggage space (it is welcome on practically all public transport)… on an airplane, although it won’t fit as luggage in most (though not all!) cabins, it can be checked in; and it’s great to ride off at the other end… in cars, on yachts, behind the pilot’s seat of a single-prop, in caravans and on narrow boats, Brompton’s are taken on trips as frequently as they take their owners on journeys.

A variety of luggage options are also available.
