The Brompton Electric is the ultimate folding ebike. Designed with all the benefits of a full size ebike, with a custom drive system, engineered with Williams Advanced Engineering to fit into a compact fold. The in-house designed electric motor is powered by a rechargeable battery and can provide 3 levels of pedal assist to suit your riding style. The assistance is smooth and seamless thanks to an integrated torque and cadence sensor. The removable battery means the Brompton Electric remains as compact as ever, and like all Brompton bikes it folds down quickly and easily so you can dash onto the train or store it in the boot of your car or under your desk.

Just like the pedal all pedal powered version, a Brompton Electric folds up to a third of its size, and when folded, a Brompton stays locked together, making an extremely compact package, a little larger than its wheels. Using the frame or saddle as a handle, a Brompton can be carried like a small suitcase, lightweight and easy to manage. The fold is designed to keep vulnerable parts, like lights and cable-runs, out of harm's way and, by folding them in, to keep the chain and gears away from clothing and luggage. Small rollers allow the folded bike to be towed, which makes moving around a station, shop or café low hassle.

The Essentials Bag, which houses the battery along with a front opening zip pocket comes as standard, and the larger City Bag, with space for a laptop and additional items, available as an optional extra.
